Separatist Moslem rebels in Thailand threw a grenade at a police checkpoint, but there were no injuries. This is the third attack on police in the area in the past week. One policeman has been killed in these attacks. Thailand believes that Burma has two thirds of its army (500,000 troops) on the Thai border.
