 Leftist politicians in India are pressuring their government to negotiate with the Nepalese Maoists, to help restore democratic rule in Nepal. But the Indian leftists want India to withhold supplying Nepal with weapons and ammunition in the meantime. The Nepalese Maoists are willing to negotiate, but has admitted that this would only be a tactic used to help them take over Nepal and establish a communist dictatorship.
