The war in Iraq has caused demonstrations in Pakistan, as they have throughout the Moslem world. This has made it more difficult for the Pakistani government to crack down on radical Islamic and terrorist groups. In a pattern similar pattern throughout the Moslem world, corrupt government and inefficient economies create poverty and anger and radical Islam is currently the most popular cure (even though it has failed spectacularly in Iran and Afghanistan.)
