Burglars broke into the Walter Reed military hospital in Washington DC recently. Rather than steal any of the valuable medical equipment, the thieves took equipment used to make military identification cards. With this stuff, anyone could make IDs that would get you into some of the most secure military facilities in America. While Army officials do not believe the theft was related to terrorist activities, they could not be sure. Similar equipment was stolen three years ago, but there was no subsequent use of false IDs.
