The Breton Revolutionary Army has claimed responsibility for the 19 April bombing that killed an employee at a McDonald's in the Brittany region of France. (Brittany has a historical ethnic distinction from the main body of France, although the region has been part of that country since Charlemagne put Roland in control of the region in 800AD. The BRA is a post-WWII phenomenon.) This is the first casualty caused by the BRA in 30 years. There were a series of bombing attacks in the 70s, and a half dozen bombs were detonated in 1998 and 1999. Breton nationalists cooperated with Spanish Basques
