Increased police activity in the Moslem south, has brought forth more Islamic radicalism. Now, leaflets are being passed around, threatening death to Moslems who work on the "Islamic weekend" of Thursday and Friday. The Islamic radicals have been threatening businesses owned by non-Moslems as well. The Islamic militants want all non-Moslems to leave the three southern provinces, and to establish an Islamic Republic in the three provinces. The Islamic terrorists only number a few hundred young men, but they have thousands of sympathizers among the 1.8 million people in the south. That's all it takes to terrorize an area.
