The SPLA accused the Sudanese government (Khartoum) of reneging on its promise of a humanitarian aid truce. The SPLA specifically accused Khartoum of bombing civilian targets in the Nuba Mountains and south Sudan. The SPLA said a major violation took place on November 12 when Sudanese government forces shelled the airstrip at Kauda (Nuba Mountains) while WFP aircraft were there on the ground.
