 The UN warned that the current peacekeeping force only has funding until the end of September, and member nations are now coming forward with the money needed to expand the national police force from 6,000 to 9,000. The army is also short of funds for things like barracks and training areas. If the national police and army are not ready (trained and led by reliable officers) when the peacekeepers leave, the country could easily fall back into anarchy.
