Burundi's Front for Democracy in Burundi (FRODEBU), the main Hutu political party, has fired five members. The members were accused of belonging to the FDD and FNL guerrilla organizations. FRODEBU has 87 seats (out of 182) in Burundis national transition assembly (a government organ that is supposed to evolve into a parliament). FRODEBU is a political success at the moment and doesnt want to give Burundis Tutsi-controlled army a reason to crack down on it. Harboring guerrillas would be the pretext.
