The military junta signed an agreement with a 30-strong
group of international mediators, allowing the reinstatement of the elected government. The platoon of diplomats came from Angola, Brazil, Cape Verde, Congo, Gabon, Mozambique, Nigeria, Portugal and the United States were led by Congo-Brazzaville foreign minister Rodolphe Adada.
