The new Kenyan government looks like its serious about pursuing its anti-corruption campaign. The campaign is a major part of the new governments reform policy. Former Kenyan president Daniel arap Moi is complaining about the anti-corruption campaign. Hes feeling the heat. Moi is being questioned about the collapse of the Euro Bank (Kenya) which took place last February. One unconfirmed report said the investigators are looking into a claim by a former bank official that Moi ordered the bank to move Kenyan government money into other accounts. 14 million dollars disappeared in one transaction. The bank has debts of ten billion dollars.
The corruption extended to the military, reducing money available to modernization or training and interfering with promotions (politics being more important than merit.)
