Last week we noted Zimbabwes precipitous drop in food production. On June 19 the UN issued another analysis of the food situation in Zimbabwe. The analysis focused on Mugabes failed land reform program, which was essentially a program of driving white farmers off their farms. The UN analysis said the large-scale commercial sector (the big farms) now only produce a tenth of what they did in the 1990s. Around 400,000 farm workers are also now out of work.
