Fiji plans to move its 600-man peacekeeping battalion from Lebanon to Timor after an Israeli withdrawal from Lebanon. The battalion forms a quarter of the Fijian Army; troops rotate between it and home-based units. That government marked a return to democracy after the 1987 military coup.--Stephen V Cole
