India condemned the king of Nepal's "coup," and has moved to stop military aid to the kingdom. The military aid, in for form of weapons, ammunition and other supplies, has totaled some $93 million over the past three years. However, training of Nepalese military personnel in India will continue. All major nations, except China, have urged the king to restore the elected politicians to power. The king feels that indecisiveness and corruption among the elected officials has hampered the war with the Maoist rebels. The Maoists claim inspiration from Chinese revolutionaries of the 1930s and 40s. Chinese Communists consider the Nepalese Maoists delusional.
