In seven different operations, troops killed nearly 80 rebels. One soldier was killed and several injured.

In the capital, two bombs went off, wounding one person.

The head of the central bank has pointed out that the rebellion, and growing popular support for action against government corruption, is causing accelerating capital flight. This, in turn, is hurting the economy even more. If something isn't done, economic, and political, conditions will get worse.
