In several clashes, at least 26 rebels were killed. The government continues to refuse the rebels offer of a one month ceasefire. A similar ceasefire was broken by the rebels last year and the government is quite blunt about not trusting the rebels. In the capital, 25,000 people demonstrated in favor of the government's handling of the war with the rebels.
