China is getting tied of North Korea's foot dragging over efforts to to make peace with its neighbors, especially South Korea and Japan. China is openly criticizing the current North Korean leadership, and the North Koreans are, in turn, saying nasty things about China. This apparently has led to the rumors that there is a power struggle in the North Korean government. China fears a complete collapse in North Korea, and hordes of economic refugees pouring into northern China. Thousands of additional Chinese troops are now openly patrolling the border with North Korea, and aggressively discouraging  illegal migrants from North Korea.
