While the extended ceasefire line seems to have stopped the rampaging lawlessness in the country's western border regions, fighting in Liberia has sent at least 15,000 refugees into camps in the southwestern corner of the Ivory Coast. As sorry as their plight is, the Ivorians have little sympathy and even less tolerance for them. However, outright violence hasn't been reported - yet. - Adam Geibel
