: MPCI rebels clashed with ECOMICI and government troops near Daloa at around 1:00 GMT, but met heavy resistance from the ECOMICI troops and were forced to retreat. While retreating, they ran into an Ivorian army unit lost 10 men. The army claimed to have only suffered three men wounded. The West African troops were also attacked by rebels on March 30. - Adam Geibel
