India has become a major trading, and diplomatic, partner of India. Trade with India was only $140 million a year when the Cold War ended in 1990. Now it's $1.6 billion a year (plus a billion dollars or more a year of weapons sales, which are not officially reported.) Israel has also increased it's ties with China, thus making allies of two countries that contain 35 percent of the world's population. Both India and China are hostile to Islamic terrorism and Palestinian attempts to destroy Israel. India and China do not make a lot of noise about this relationship, but the trade is tangible, as are the diplomatic and political ties.
