10.0pt"> In the northern Gaza Strip, Israeli soldiers discovered two massive bombs on the morning of 11 July near the Dugit settlement. Together, they weighed about 286 lbs. The first bomb discovered was estimated to be around 110 lbs. The bombs were similar in size and design to the one that destroyed two Merkava tanks in previous months. There were no casualties when Border Police sappers (an Israeli term for Explosive Ordnance experts) disarmed the antitank device. - Adam Geibel
