Some 1,500 Hamas supporters held a demonstration that featured burning Israeli flags and parading around a large poster of Osama Bin Laden. Palestinian police attempted to seize still and video cameras carried by foreign journalists. The Palestinian tried to prevent other demonstrations celebrating the terrorist attacks in America. Israel is taking advantage of this and has backed off from further peace talks with the Palestinians. The feeling is that the Palestinians have suffered an enormous loss in international support because of the pro-Bin Laden demonstrations and the links between Palestinian terrorist groups and the Bin Laden organization.
