The US reported that communications intercepts and defector reports revealed that Iraqi scientists who cooperate with UN inspectors are to be killed, and that the Iraqis are trying to hack into UN Arms Inspectors computer systems. This information also indicated that Iraq was hiding documents and other material in remote locations, private homes, mosques and hospitals. Today, six Iraqi scientists refused to be questioned in private, as allowed by the UN inspection mandate.
