The US is securing huge quantities of satellite bandwidth (communications capacity) from commercial suppliers, indicating extensive use of real time video in upcoming military operations in Iraq. This use of "persistent" reconnaissance denies the Iraqis the ability to construct deceptions and move their SCUD launchers, as they did in the 1991 campaign. The new Predator B will probably be used in Iraq. The "B" model can carry up to ten Hellfire missiles. One Hellfire can wreck a SCUD launcher, or the missile itself.
