Demonstrations broke out in cities following the presidential elections. Democracy is a sham in Iran because of how the Islamic conservatives manipulate and control it. The amount of violent protest has been increasing, and electing an Islamic conservative, now relabeled as a "moderate reformer," as president is not likely to work.
