 Iranian public opinion is united on wanting to see Saddam deposed quickly by coalition forces. But there is a split in outlook on what happens then. Younger Iranians (the majority of the population) joke about the coalition then coming into Iran and freeing them from the Islamic conservatives that dominate Iranian life. Those conservatives talk darkly about a Western dominated Iraq that will be no better than Saddam.
