Iran continues to be a major buyer of North Korean military equipment and technologies. US spy satellites regularly track Iranian freighters picking up cargo at North Korean ports. Most of the weapons produced in Iran are variants on older American equipment. This is good practice for Iranian engineers. More modern equipment is being bought from Russia. While the Iranian built weapons generate a certain amount of national pride in the population, most people see a
