The government has extended, by two months, it's deadline for foreign aid workers to leave Aceh province. There are about 800 foreigner aid workers in Aceh. Nearly all of them are civilians, the foreign military aid workers have almost completely gone. The military is continuing its operations against separatist rebels in Aceh, and appears less concerned that foreigners will witness some of the brutal tactics used.
