Indonesia has ordered seven KR-1 tandem-seat basic trainer aircraft from South Korea, becoming the first export customers for aircraft made in South Korea. The $70 million deal provides for the seven aircraft to be delivered over a period of three years. The KT-1 has four pylons which could carry bombs or podded weapons, but it is unclear if Indonesia plans to arm any of the aircraft.--Stephen V Cole
