  There were five terrorist attacks in southwest Pakistan overnight, one of them on a gas pipeline. In southern Andhra Pradesh state in India, police and Maoist rebels clashed, leaving five rebels dead. There's supposed to be a ceasefire with the Maoists, but the army still runs patrols through areas the Maoists claim to control, and armed encounters happen.
