Pakistan is increasing cooperation with Afghanistan. This is not easy, because most Afghans hold Pakistan responsible for creating the Taliban (this is largely true) and supporting the Taliban government (also true.) But now pro-Taliban Pakistanis have turned against their government and it's a new situation.
