In Bombay, India, a bomb went off in a commuter train, killing nine and wounding 60. Islamic militants are suspected. 

In Kashmir, rebel attacks left six civilians dead. 

Indian announced that it knew of 70 Kashmiri rebel camps still operating in the Pakistani portion of Kashmir. Pakistan says it shut down most of these camps and India says this is not true and American spy satellites can confirm that. 

The Indian army admitted that over the last three years, 63 active and former Indian army officers have been found to be working with Pakistani intelligence.
