Rebel violence in Kashmir left five men dead, as they tried to cross the Line of Control into Kashmir. Elsewhere, rebels killed three Moslems, in the ongoing effort to terrorize the population into supporting the rebels.
Police arrested four Islamic militants as suspects of the church attack the previous day. At first, the attack was thought to be just a robbery.
