A US Marine KC-130 aerial tanker crashed (clipping the top of a ridge) while landing at a Pakistani airport. All seven marines aboard died. A Pakistani recon drone flew into Indian air space, triggering a lot of anti-aircraft fire. The drone then turned around and flew back into Pakistan. India has threatened "stronger measures" unless Pakistan starts cracking down on Kashmiri radicals based in Pakistan. These groups today threatened additional attacks on Indian military targets.  Gunfire across the line of control left a Pakistani policeman wounded. In Kashmir, an all day siege of two rebels in a mosque ended with one rebel dead and the other wounded and captured.
