Pakistan has charged the leader of one of the most vocal
Islamic fundamentalist groups (the JUI) with treason. Fazlur Rehman has been active in organizing and leading violent demonstrations against Pakistan working with the American attack on Afghanistan. Despite closing it's border with Afghanistan, some 2,000 Afghans a day are sneaking across anyway.
