Pakistani president Musharraf has ruled out the use of Pakistani troops in Afghanistan. Many in the Pakistani armed forces are pro-Taliban, but recent televised meetings between Musharraf and senior military commanders indicates that the generals are solidly behind the president (who was, two years ago, the commander of the armed forces.) One of the Kashmiri terrorist groups, Harakat ul-Mujahedin, listed by the US as international terrorists, has closed it's main office in Pakistan but denied that it is leaving the country. The Pakistani government has seized Harakat ul-Mujahedin's bank accounts.
