Congo: Desertions, Disease and Deja Vu

An army battalion, and the families of the soldiers, in North Kivu province, have been disabled by an outbreak of cholera. The 3,000 people involved were moving via truck when the cholera hit. The convoy was halted so that the outbreak could be treated. So far, about two dozen have died, and a quarter of the people involved have been hospitalized.
