The governments increasing success against rebel and drug gangs has induced more and more of the drug business to move to nearby Peru and Bolivia. The Colombian drug gangs, and the rebel organizations (FARC, ELN, AUC) that evolved into support organizations for them, are also going international. In the last year, drug production fell eleven percent in Colombia, while going  up 35 percent in Bolivia and 23 percent in Peru. More Colombian drug gang members are showing up in Bolivia and Peru.
