Venezuela is denying support of Colombian FARC rebels, but is negotiating with Colombia, with Brazil mediating, to resolve the dispute. American satellite photos show FARC camps in Venezuela, and captured documents show relationships between FARC leaders and government officials in Venezuela. There is a leftist government in Venezuela, which is cozy with communist Cuba and leftist movements everywhere. But the Colombian rebel groups have been tagged as international terrorists throughout most of the world. So Venezuela has an incentive to back off on their support for FARC.
