The army offensive against rebel camps continues, in the form of hundreds of patrols and attacks by ground troops and warplanes (bombers and helicopters.) In the last few days, nearly 40 rebels were killed, as well as at least five soldiers. Life has become a lot more uncomfortable for the rebels, who, over the decades, had built up a comfortable life for themselves in remote areas that, until now, were rarely visited by police or soldiers.
