In what was apparently an organized operation, hundreds of Chinese fishing boats, none with nets deployed and steaming in formation, entered Taiwanese waters. It is common for a few Chinese fishing boats to intrude near the Taiwanese controlled island of Tungyin, just off the mainland coast. But this operation was a taste of what kind of unusual tactics the Chinese have in store if it comes down to a battle over Taiwan.
