In Kyrgyzstan, police arrested two men for possessing, and trying to sell,  77 pounds of radioactive material they had stolen from a shut down Soviet era nuclear power plant.  One man had taken the material in 1984 and stored it in his house since then. The other man had stolen more radioactive ytterbium oxide, and used to work at a uranium processing plant. All this low grade radioactive material can be used by terrorists to build a "dirty bomb."
