There are allegations that Momir Stojanovic, the Serb Armys new head of intelligence, is linked to war crimes in Kosovo. Stojanovic got the intel chief job as part of a Serb government effort to reform the militarys intelligence services. The gist of the allegations is that Stojanovic was involved in the April 27, 1999 massacre of at least one hundred Kosovar Albanians in the villages of Meje and Korenice. Stojanovic may have ordered the slayings and then helped cover up the incident. Stojanovic denies the allegations.
