: Well wait and see on this one. A series of press reports indicates that in the last three weeks former Serb dictator Slobodan Milosevic has been placed under continued police surveillance. The rumor mill in Belgrade says Milosevic will be arraigned by a Serb court in late February. Several articles claim that the Serb government has reached the decision that Milosevic will stand trial, but not in a foreign court. Current Yugoslav president Kostunicas advisers argue that trial in The Hague will turn Milosevic into a martyr in Serbia. The big charges against Milosevic in a Serb trial? Corruption and theft.

There were no casualties and no vehicles were hit. A US diplomat later confirmed the incident. A spokesman for the UCPMB called the incident propaganda by Serbia and accused Belgrade of staging the incident. Serbian police claimed UCPMB snipers were responsible.
