The Greek government has delayed for a year plans to sell 49% of its state-owned Hellenic Aerospace Industries because the bids (from two European consortiums) were too low. While the contract for the purchase of Eurofighters was not dependent on the deal, Greece may not have enough money to proceed with the purchase until it sells the stake in HAI.--Stephen V Cole
