Is Croatia about to face another round of political violence? IWPR reports that in late August a group calling itself the Croatian Revolutionary Fraternity (CRF) sent out a faxed death threat against Croat President Stipe Mesic. The group may be linked to violence against witnesses who have testified at the Hague war crimes hearings. An "old version" CRF, an "extreme Croat nationalist" organization which advocated Croatian independence from Yugoslavia, supposedly disbanded in the early 1990s.
