The secession battle in Croatia grows more intense as President Franjo Tudjman's health gets worse. Tudjman, 77, is suffering from stomach cancer. Several independent sources in Croatia say the battle will be between Ivic Pasalic (a close Tudjman adviser), Vladimir Seks (Deputy Speaker of Parliament), Mate Granic (Foreign Minister), and Jure Radic (Minister of Reconstruction).
