The Islamic radicals who have waged a civil war for the last eleven years have been marginalized. Most of the Islamic radical parties have made peace with the government, leaving only some fringe (but still vicious and murderous) groups operating. But the government remains corrupt and inefficient and another rebellion is brewing if current problems are not solved.
