  Rebel violence continues to decline, although twenty have died from rebel action so far this month. The rebels have lost whatever popular support they had, but the government isn't doing so well in the popularity department either. Corruption and tyranny by the former revolutionaries, who have run the place since the French left four decades ago, are breeding a crop of non-Islamic rebels.
