Six civilian campers will killed by rebels. An army truck was ambushed by rebels 600 kilometers east of the capital, leaving seven soldiers dead and two wounded. Since January, 1,200 civilians have been slaughtered by rebels, while 200 rebels have been killed. During the amnesty period from last April to this January, 900 civilians were slain. Over 100,000 people have been killed in the violence since 1992.
